Meet our full-time professional sea and shore based staff. Our shore based team will make sure that planning, paying and organising your voyage is simple and hassle free. With over 20 years of sailing experience between them, you can be certain that sailing with Ocean Youth Trust North will be a safe and truly unforgettable experience.

Steve Lennon - Managing Director
Steve is responsible to the board of trustees for keeping the charity afloat and on course.  He has been in the forefront of the development of the trust and heads up our marketing and communications.
He is rarely on the boat these days spending most of his time out and about building relationships with clients and associate organisations, engaging young people in sail training and developing innovative ideas for the way ahead.
He first joined Ocean Youth Trust in 1999 as a volunteer, was employed as mate and then became the staff skipper of James Cook for six years.  He is a qualified Yachtmaster Offshore and dreams of being back at sea at the helm of James Cook.
